Scent Stories is our seasonal fragrance circle. A more thoughtful kind of perfume subscription, created for those who believe fragrance is at its most magical when it arrives with a little mystery still intact.
Every three months, in August, November, February and May, Bella Middleton, our founder, creates an entirely new limited edition unisex Eau de Parfum exclusively for members of the Scent Stories Circle. Each artisan toxin free perfume is hand blended and poured in small batches in our Norfolk workshop. Every fragrance is made just once. Once the season has passed, so has the perfume. Like the moment that inspired it. The next Scent Story will be dispatched around Mid November.
Each Eau de Parfum is inspired by the changing British landscape. A windswept coastline. Blossom carried on a spring breeze. The hush of an ancient woodland. A favourite garden at dusk. They are fragrances born from stories, memories and the extraordinary beauty found in everyday moments.
Designed to be worn by everyone, every Scent Story is also created to be layered. Worn alone each perfume tells its own story. Layered together they become something entirely your own. A brighter note might soften beneath an earlier fragrance, while a familiar scent takes on a completely different character with the arrival of a new season. Over time your collection becomes a fragrance wardrobe, as individual and evolving as the memories that inspired it.
We'll share whispers rather than spoilers. A glimpse of the landscape, a feeling and perhaps a memory or two. Just enough to stir your imagination. Before opening your full size perfume you'll receive a complimentary 2ml discovery sample. Wear it for a few days. Live with it. Layer it with the Scent Stories you already love. Let it settle into your own story. If it isn't for you, simply return your unopened 30ml bottle in its sealed tin and we'll take care of the rest. We believe perfume should always be chosen with the heart and never out of obligation.
